Named after the Maa word Oloning’o - meaning “one who is heard and noticed,” a voice or presence that is not only listened to but also recognized and respected - this safari camp is a sanctuary of empowerment, connection, and conscious travel. Pronounced Oh-loh-NING-oh, the name reflects our commitment to preserving the Mara in its purest form. In a world where fragile ecosystems face constant threat, we’ve made a deliberate choice: no swimming pools, no excess water use - just the untouched beauty of the land as it was meant to be.
